These callers may claim there is suspicious activity on your debit card and pressure you to “verify” your account.

The scam calls are coming from a phone number with a 570-area code. The legitimate fraud alert calls that come from our financial institution are from a rotating 800 number.

If someone calls you unexpectedly and says your debit card has fraud:

• Do NOT give your account number, debit card number, or PIN.
• Do NOT share online banking usernames or passwords.
• Do NOT provide onetime verification codes sent to your phone.
• Do NOT trust caller ID — it can be spoofed.

If you receive a suspicious call: Hang up immediately and call us using the number on the back of your debit card or visit any branch. Your caution protects your account.
